You are NOT powerless!
Stand up to management malpractice—for your sake and for your organization

Have you ever been demeaned, manipulated, lied to, oppressed, abused, or otherwise injured by the malpractice of management at your job? If so, you’re not alone. Management malpractice is a growing crisis and is rampant in today’s business environment.

What is management malpractice?
All too often, leaders abandon guiding principles and positive corporate values. They twist and pervert those values for their own gain at the expense of their people and organizations. When this happens, these great principles and values become worn-out clichés, meaningless lip service, and outright lies. For example:

Corporate leaders urge employees to raise concerns freely. In reality, employees do this at their own risk. Later, leaders use their words as ammunition against these employees.

Leaders declare that “we accept full responsibility for our actions,” using this statement to compel employees to disclose their mistakes so leaders can deflect their own involvement or culpability.

The organization trumpets work-life balance, which proves to be lip service. Employees seeking work-life balance aren’t awarded promotions and are branded as not committed or having morale problems.
